Spiced Maple Pumpkin Latte At Home

Here’s a unique fall coffee recipe that combines the comforting warmth of seasonal spices with a touch of sweetness and richness.

Spiced Maple Pumpkin Latte

Ingredients:

1 shot espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)

3/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based, like oat or almond milk)

1 tablespoon pure pumpkin puree

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)

1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of ground cardamom (for an extra layer of spice and warmth)

Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

A sprinkle of cinnamon (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Do not let it boil.

2. Add pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and cardamom to the milk. Whisk together until smooth and well-combined.

3. Froth the mixture (if you have a frother) for a creamy texture. If not, whisk vigorously to incorporate some air.

4. Pour the espresso (or coffee) into your favorite mug.

5. Pour the spiced pumpkin milk over the coffee, stirring gently to combine.

6. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon.

Tips:

Experiment with the spices: You can adjust the spice blend to taste, adding a bit more nutmeg or cinnamon if desired.

Maple syrup sweetness: Adjust maple syrup for a lighter or richer sweetness level.

Enjoy the warm, spiced comfort of fall in every sip!
