Instructions:
Cold Brew:
- Combine the coarsely ground coffee beans and cold water in a pitcher or large jar.
- Stir gently to ensure all the coffee grounds are wet.
- Cover the pitcher or jar and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours.
- After steeping, strain the cold brew through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter into a separate container. This will be your base cold brew.
Pumpkin Spice Chai Foam:
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan until it's warm but not boiling.
- Add the chai tea bag to the warm milk and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag and let the milk cool down.
- In a bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin spice mix, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually whisk in the cooled chai-infused milk until the mixture is well combined and slightly frothy.
Assembly:
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the prepared cold brew over the ice, leaving some space at the top.
- Carefully spoon or pour the Pumpkin Spice Chai Foam over the cold brew.
- Give it a gentle stir to incorporate the foam into the cold brew.
- Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of extra pumpkin spice mix on top for garnish.
- Insert a reusable or paper straw and enjoy your unique Pumpkin Spice Chai Cold Brew creation!
